Six photos in a collage of Rollins College Hillel students

Rollins Hillel is an inclusive pluralistic community where students from all backgrounds can come together to celebrate, explore, and deepen their connection to Judaism in an open and welcoming environment all while creating meaningful Jewish memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. We are all kinds Jewish.

We hope that you come and enjoy everything that Hillel has to offer -- from delicious free Shabbat dinners, holidays, service projects and social events while making lifelong connections. If there is anything you want to see at Rollins Hillel, we want to make it happen!

And as we say at Rollins Hillel, "Welcome home."

Shabbat

We have started to host bi-weekly Shabbat celebration dinners, in addition to celebrating the Jewish holidays.

Shabbat is a time to spend with family and friends - and a time to take a break from the rest of the week. Everyone is welcome to join our Hillel family for any of the following Shabbats or Holidays.

On Friday nights we typically begin at 6:00 pm with student-led traditional Shabbat blessings.

Dinner is FREE and All are Welcome!

Holidays

For the High Holidays, Jewish students are welcomed by the community synagogues to participate services at no cost. Heidi Zissman, associate Director of Jewish life, will arrange for transportation to the local synagogues for those that need. Hillel will host a traditional Rosh Hashana dinner as well as a break fast meal, following the end of Yom Kippur.

Look out for the Sukkah on campus as we will be celebrating Sukkot!

Rollins Hillel also hosts engaging TuBishvat and Purim celebrations in the spring as well as an interactive Passover Seder that’s a highlight of the semester.
